Thanksgiving

Another Thanksgiving.  I have noticed that Thanksgiving happens once every year.  It is definitely a pattern.

I am grateful that I was able to see a pattern for Thanksgiving.

I am grateful that I am not a turkey.

I am grateful that I do not know any turkeys and will not be saddened by their demise.

I am grateful that I was born a male and can pee anywhere.

I am grateful . . .

- that the Law of Gravity keeps me from spinning off the planet;

- that I did not buy a house in Toronto and saved myself over a million dollars;

- that I can count to 14 without using my fingers;

- that I can draw pictures and a salary;

- for Spell Check because it allows me to appear perfect in writing;

And finally,

I am grateful that I often get confused.  This causes me to smile more.

Merry Chritmas!

I Am Grateful . . .

I am grateful that I can breathe.  What would my life be like if I could not breathe.

I am grateful that I don't have to eat chairs.  But if I chose to do so, I would be grateful for always having something to eat.

I am grateful for who I am.  But I would be grateful if I was someone else.

I am grateful that my mind is not pure.  What fun life is having a dirty mind!

I am grateful for grates.  I don't know why.

I am grateful I can end this blog now and go off to celebrate my gratefulness.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I AM GRATEFUL II

I am grateful that my tears are not made of hydrochloric acid.

I am grateful that the sun goes down at sundown, and not up.

I am grateful that a cliff hasn't fallen off me.

I am grateful for the Seven Seas, but I don't know why.

I am grateful for having a womb of my own before I was born.

I am grateful that my parents were not goats.

I am grateful for yesterday.  I am grateful for today.  I haven't decided about tomorrow.

I am grateful that I am not a zombie.  I've never had brains, and do not want to start eating them now.

I am grateful that it is not Thanksgiving.  I'm not ready yet.

FOR THIS I AM GRATEFUL

Seeing Turkey reminded me that I need not wait for Thanksgiving to express my gratitude.

Everytime I go to the bathroom, I am grateful for the Law of Gravity.

Everytime I stop at a stop sign, I am grateful that there are no such things as invisible cars.

Everytime I take a deep breath, I am grateful that I am not a rock at the bottom of a river.  A rock at the bottom of a river can't take deep breaths.

Everytime I wash my hands, I am grateful that the soap works.

Everytime I tie my shoe laces, I am grateful that it no longer takes me three days to do so.

Everytime I go home, I am grateful that I do not live in someone's underwear.

Everytime I end a blog, I am grateful knowing that somewhere someone is grateful.
